At Village a Community Group is the best place for sustained life change to occur. In these groups, people study God’s Word and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It’s also where people pray together, care for one another, and are missed if they don’t show up.

Community Groups are small groups comprised of six to twelve individuals or five to seven married couples that meet for connection, Bible study, prayer, friendship, and accountability. They are closed groups that commit to meet together for 18 to 24 months.

VPC will once again be offering the 8-week Starting Point course. This course is designed to show how the various parts of the Bible fit together – from the Garden of Eden to the Cross. This approach helps us to better understand and more clearly see the message that God has given to us through His written word. Ideally, by the end of the eight-week course, participants will have a more complete understanding of not only what we believe as Christians, but also why we believe what we do.

This discussion group is open to everyone, no matter where they are in their faith journey. Those that are new to Christianity will learn more about why Christians believe what we do, and longtime church goers will benefit from a refresher on our core beliefs.
